Is This Your First Visit to MyLehigh?

You can set up your MyLehigh account using your first-time login number. Your authentication number is a six-digit number that is only used the first time you log in. At that time, you will set up your own preferred username and password. The first-time login number can be found in some Lehigh University mailings, or can be requested through the Alumni Association help desk:

866-758-ALUM
askLUAA@lehigh.edu

Be sure to include your birthdate and the last four digits of your Social Security number.

Please watch our brief tutorial on how to create your MyLehigh account!

If you're having trouble logging in to your MyLehigh account, please make sure you have completed the First-Time Login section in its entirety. You will need to obtain and enter your first-time login number. If you continue to have problems, please contact the Alumni Helpdesk for support.

Alumni Computing Accounts

Alumni Computer Accounts are used to access the Lehigh University portal, transcript and diploma information, and library resources. Fill out the LIN/PIN form to request your Alumni Computing Account.

If you're having trouble logging in to your alumni computing account (for Portal and email), try changing your password. Once you've set up your account, changing your password will solve most of your log-in problems, including the "account disabled" and "password expired" messages. Make sure you stay on the page until you see the word "Finished" in red letters. Be patient! You can change your password here.

Useful Links & Information:

Online Resources:

  • Lehigh's Internet Mail Portal (or IMP): The method we recommend for checking your Lehigh email
  • Alumni Library ProQuest database: Searches through the Alumni Portal
    • Log in to the Lehigh University Portal
    • Select the "Lehigh Connection" tab for alumni
    • Look for the "Alumni Library" box and click "ProQuest Research"
  • Transcript Requests: The Registrar's office can process your requests. If you graduated in 1982 or later, you can get your transcripts online, either through Banner self-service (with a LIN and PIN) or through the Portal (with a username and password). See the Registrar's page for links and directions
  • On-campus computing network access request form: Planning to be on campus? We offer seven-day courtesy accounts, which allow you to use the wireless network with your laptop, and log in to on-campus workstations. An alumni computing account is required (see above for instructions)
  • iTunes U: Cool multimedia from the Lehigh community, including alumni career development podcasts

Be careful of fake emails!

Not just for your Lehigh account, but for all of your online accounts! We will never ask you to email us your password. In fact, no legitimate web service will ever ask you to email your password. Never send anyone any of your online credentials. If an email seems questionable, it probably is. If you do reply to a fake email ("phishing"), there is an excellent chance that your credentials will be used to hack your accounts, which can result in identity theft, invasions of your privacy, and other bad stuff.

If you think that your password for any online account may be compromised:
  • Change your password immediately! You can change your Lehigh password here
  • If any of your other online accounts share the same password, you should change them too
  • Contact Customer Support from the online business in question
