What's New?

We’re constantly focused on enhancing Young Alumni Reunion. Many changes have been made this year based on your feedback, including several new events! Check out Friday’s wine tasting and Saturday’s breakfast with Lehigh faculty/staff/administration or the golf outing with
PGA Professional Larry Wise.

The Brown & White Bash will be packed with live music and great food and drink, thus creating a night of entertainment, dancing and reminiscing with old friends – and yes, there will still be a photo booth.

Not interested in dancing? Check out the dessert area with acoustic music and a coffee-house feel or the “catch my breath” space with an upscale lounge vibe. The evening will end at midnight, enabling you to enjoy the rest of your night wherever you please, and making way for more young alumni programming throughout the year and country! Stay tuned for more details…

Be sure to check out all the great YAR events and get the most out of your weekend back on South Mountain! If you have any questions please contact Stacey Scherer at sls411@lehigh.edu.

FAQ

Q. Can I bring non-Lehigh alumni as my guest?

A. Yes, you can bring one guest to each of our great events. Please enter your guest’s name when registering to ensure we have an accurate head count.

Q. Is there any transportation provided?

A. Transportation is provided on Saturday evening only – and it’s free! Shuttle buses are available to and from the class receptions, the Brown and White Bash and the two designated hotels: Comfort Suites Bethlehem and Holiday Inn Express.

Q. What do I wear to the Bash?

A. The Brown and White Bash is the biggest party of the weekend! Cocktail attire is requested – you’ll want to look your best while making new memories with old friends!

Q. Where do I register and pick up my tickets for YAR events?

A. All of the YAR events have controlled admission. When you arrive, simply go to any of the planned YAR events you’ve registered for and a check-in/registration table will be at each event.

Q. Do I need to make a reservation in advance?

A. Yes! To help the YAR staff plan quality events, advance registration is highly recommended. This places you on the “Who’s Coming” list and ensures that there’s enough food/beverages at each event. Due to occupancy levels and deadlines for food/drink orders, only a limited number of add-ons may be permitted – and are not guaranteed! To ensure you will be admitted to an event, register early! Registration closes at 5 p.m. ET on September 21.

Q. What should I do if I want to add an event once I get to campus?

A. Space is limited and early registration is highly recommended. However, once you’ve registered for a YAR event, you may be able to add an additional event. Please contact Evelyn Wolf in the Alumni Association at 610-758-4682. AGAIN, it’s not guaranteed. To ensure you will be admitted to an event, register early!

Q. Will I receive a confirmation of my reservation?

A. When registering for YAR online, you’ll be prompted to log into MyLehigh. As long as your email address to up to date, you’ll receive a confirmation email immediately after registering. Please review the confirmation, and should you see any changes that need to be made contact Evelyn Wolf at 610-758-4682 or ejw1@lehigh.edu. Also, please bring a copy of this confirmation with you to YAR.

Q. What should I do if I need to change or cancel my reservation?

A. To change or to cancel contact Evelyn Wolf at 610-758-4682. Refunds for cancellations will not be issued after 5 p.m. ET on September 21, 2012.

Q. How can I find out if a classmate has made a reservation?

A. Check out the "Who's Coming" list from the event registration page. (Link coming soon.)

Q. If I have a question that hasn't been covered, who should I contact?

A. Contact Stacey Scherer at 610-758-4418 or sls411@lehigh.edu.
