About Dr. Paul Brown
Dr. Paul Brown is Dean of Lehigh University's renowned College of Business and Economics. Prior to his current role at Lehigh University, Dr. Brown spent over 20 years at New York University (NYU) Stern School of Business, where he held a variety of senior academic and administrative positions at the business school and at the university level. Dr. Brown was the Associate Dean of Executive MBA Programs and Academic Director of TRIUM, NYU Stern's Global Executive MBA Program in alliance with the London School of Economics (LSE) and Political Science as well as the HEC School of Management in Paris. Further, Dr. Brown previously served as Chair of the Department of Accounting, Taxation and Business Law at NYU Stern School of Business and as a Professor of Accounting.
Dean Brown was founding Editor of The Journal of Financial Statement Analysis; and, he has co-authored a widely used textbook in undergraduate, MBA and executive education programs: Financial Reporting, Financial Statement Analysis, and Valuation: A Strategic Perspective. Dr. Brown earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin and Marshall College and he completed his Doctor of Philosophy as well as his Master’s Degree in Professional Accountancy from the University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, Dean Brown was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
