Reunion Class Award

Alumni Award recipients are Lehigh alumni in a milestone Reunion year who have given continued support to the university, have been willing to give their time in volunteer service to Lehigh and have contributed significantly to the life of their respective communities.

Distinguished Alumni Awards

The Lehigh University Distinguished Alumni Awards recognize outstanding achievement among Lehigh University alumni, honoring those who have succeeded in and impacted their respective industries and communities. We honor their accomplishments and their contributions to elevating the reputation of Lehigh University.

Undergraduate Student Merit Award

The Undergraduate Student Merit Award is the highest honor bestowed upon an undergraduate student by the Alumni Association. The recipient shall be a student of the current graduating class, who by exemplary character, personality, scholarship, and participation in extra-curricular activities, represents the traditions of Lehigh University.

Graduate Student Merit Award

The Graduate Student Merit Award is the highest honor bestowed upon a graduate student by the Alumni Association. The recipient shall be a graduate student who expects to graduate this year and who represents academic excellence combined with exemplary character and leadership within the graduate student community thus representing traditions of Lehigh University.

Friend of Lehigh Award

The Friend of Lehigh Award recipient shall be a non-alumnus/a who has displayed a significant and helpful interest in Lehigh University. If the nominee is a resident of the local community, consider nominating him or her for the Good Neighbor Award instead.

Good Neighbor Award

The Good Neighbor Award recipient shall be a non-alumnus/a and a resident of the local community who has shown a consistent and friendly interest in all or specific Lehigh affairs and is well remembered and warmly regarded by a substantial segment of the alumni body. If the nominee is not a local resident, perhaps the Friend of Lehigh Award would be a more appropriate fit.

Paul Franz Award

The Paul J. Franz '44 Award recognizes a university professional staff administrator who has combined excellence of performance with a service of dedication and devotion to Lehigh University. This is a very special award in honor of a very dear friend who represented the ideals of loyalty, enthusiasm, and love for his alma mater and fellow Lehigh family.
