A State-of-the-Art Academic and Research Facility
This summer, Lehigh will break ground on the most strategically important academic and research facility the university has built in years: the Health, Science & Technology Building. 
This sustainably designed new facility will serve as the home of our College of Health and provide modern, flexible research and teaching space for faculty working across the university. Anchoring the northeast corner of campus, HST will encourage an interdisciplinary culture via maximized transparency and accountability; develop functional neighborhoods that promote collaboration, communication and flexibility; and serve as an important new crossroads for Lehigh students, industry external partners and the public. This video provides a sneak peek at the way HST will help connect Lehigh to South Bethlehem and bring greater vitality to our campus core. 
A Home for a New College As the home of the College of Health, HST will serve as a nexus for innovation in population health education, research and partnerships. 
Collaborative spaces will be embedded throughout the building, creating a “living laboratory” that will allow the College to support intensive and important work by students, faculty, community and industry partners. This video showcases some of the interior spaces that will fuel exploration and discovery at HST. 
A Step Forward Along the Path to Prominence Construction on HST is expected to be completed by 2021. The project is one of the cornerstones of Lehigh’s Path to Prominence plan, the initiative by which the university intends to expand its impact, dynamism and importance and cement its place among the finest and most distinguished universities in the world. |
